Thanks for this toughtfull insight. Makes me think a lot. For example, as I work on IT projects for ecological transition, I prefer minimalist design, as it’s less resource-consuming. But you make me wonder if it would be possible to adapt skeuomorphism or neumorphism to a low-tech context or to a purely biological context? In the case of a Save button, what could be the icon refering to a pre-computing context or to a biological context? And so on…
